Wine Review: Looking for a terrific value in a red wine? Look no further. This gem from Sineann is very enjoyable and affordable. It is bright red colored and made from a blend of 3 grapes. Zin, Pinot, and Cab. Now that is a concoction worth trying. It opens with a pleasant strawberry bouquet with a hint of red cherry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, well balanced, and very easy going. The flavor profile is a very tasty strawberry and raspberry blend. The finish is dry and its very mild tannins are slightly prolonged. This is a great bargain for $18 and very food friendly. It would be a perfect match with pork tenderloin. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Pay Attention! You'll rarely find a better deal on a red wine! This wine is essentially all the Sineann wines we made in 2008 combined. That's right - the Old Vine Zin, the Resonance Pinot Noir, the Baby Poux Cab and more. As my friend Norm says, if you can find a better wine at this price, buy it. There’s no one out there that crops this low on vineyards this good and sells the stuff this cheap.
