Wine Review: This midnight purple colored Cabernet Sauvignon opens with mild black currant bouquet with hints of violets, black cherry, warm brownies, cigar box, mint, and cinnamon. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, fresh and easy to drink. The flavor profile is mild black cherry and herbal tea blend with notes of cedar and graphite. We also detected hints of red licorice, dried strawberry, and dark chocolate. The finish is dry and moderate tannins linger and last for a very long time. The Tasting Panel would pair this Cab with a pork tenderloin or with beef brisket. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Our Cabernet Sauvignon vineyards in Stags Leap District and Coombsville define classic Napa Valley. This time-honored blend delivers a balanced structure and velvety texture. It opens with intense aromas of dark cherry and stone fruits. Full-bodied with great structure and balance. Perfectly ripe cherry and plum flavors and hints of apricot and toasted oak lead to a long finish.
