Wine Review: This dark brick red colored Cabernet Sauvignon has a hearty, earthy, ripe raspberry bouquet with spices, oak and hints of leather. The full bodied and blended flavors with soft tannins create an ideally balanced and structured North Coast Cab. The pleasing palate also includes blackberry and light creamy dark chocolate. I enjoyed the dry palate filling finish that lingered nicely. I would pair this reasonably priced Cab with prime rib and a baked potato with butter and sour cream. - Joe

Winemaker Notes: Our Cabernet Sauvignon is dark ruby in color, with aromas of black currants, anise, tobacco, and dark chocolate. Flavors of blackberries, cherries, cocoa and toasty oak are complimented by round, soft tannins, leading to a silky, lingering finish. Ripe flavors, soft tannins and complexity are the hallmarks of the 2013 vintage.
