Wine Review: This deep ruby colored opens with a pomegranate and black leather bouquet with hints of earthy and musty black raspberry. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied, slightly acidic, smooth and jammy. The flavor profile is a cedar plank infused craisin with notes of red plum and pomegranate. There are hints of oregano, vanilla and smoke towards the end. The finish is dry and its sticky dusty tannins linger and last for a long time. This Cab would pair well with a Memphis styled pork plate with beans and slaw or a garlic-crusted roast rack of lamb. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Our Tyros Cabernet Sauvignon has a deep ruby red color with beautiful garnet tones reaching the rim. The nose introduces rich flavors of perfectly ripened plum, black cherries and playful notes of Tahitian vanilla bean. True to its classic Napa style, the palate is dominated by its fruit forward personality with secondary tones of bay leaf, dried rose petals and toasty oak lingering on its velvety long finish.
