Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Pinot Noir from Siduri is very nice. It opens with a pleasant mild blueberry bouquet with a hint of oak. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic and juicy. The flavor profile is a tasty blueberry with hints of vanilla-cola and black raspberry. The finish is dry and its flavors and mild tannins fade away nicely. This Pinot would pair well with grilled Colorado lamb chops with lavender. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: The 2012 Siduri Keefer Ranch Vineyard Pinot Noir represents one of the most complex Keefer Pinots we have ever produced. The wine certainly shows the rich fruit that Keefer is known for, but that is tempered with a more earthy, mineral character than we usually see in this wine. We believe that this additional complexity will only allow the wine to become more compelling with the passage of time.
