Wine Review: This dark coral colored wine from Sidebar opens with a faint wet stone bouquet with a hint of strawberry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic and brisk. The flavor profile is a saline and mineral influenced watermelon with hints of strawberry. The finish is dry and its flavors subtlety fade away. This Syrah based Rose would be a nice refreshing option on a hot day. Serve it with shrimp cocktail. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: Dry, crisp, and perfumed; pairs with a wide variety of foods and flavors. It is drawn from two older-vine Syrah vineyards in the heart of the Russian River Valley and is best enjoyed in its youth. Sunny weekend lunches are a perfect pairing.
