Wine Review: This deep garnet colored Zinfandel opens with a red raspberry and red plum bouquet with hints of strawberry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied and balanced. The flavor profile is a red plum and black raspberry blend with notes of black cherry and oak. We also detected some hints of minerality and black pepper mixed in. The finish is dry and its chewy dusty tannins linger for quite a while. The Panel would pair this Zin with a juicy Angus burger smothered with tangy barbecue sauce off the grill. Enjoy – KWGTP
