Wine Review: This light yellow colored Chardonnay from Shafer is a winner every year. This years vintage opens with a floral pear like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, well balanced, slightly creamy, and refined. The flavor profile is pear with notes of minerality. There were hints of spice and a touch of lemon detected as well. The finish is dry and very elegant. This wine would pair very well with lobster. Enjoy - Ken
