Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Merlot is a real pleasant wine to consider for near term consumption. It opens with a mild blueberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, very nicely balanced, easy to drink and suave. The flavor profile is a mild blueberry with notes of black cherry and mild oak mixed in. The finish is dry and its mild tannins drift away nicely. This is a very pleasant wine that is quite food friendly. It would pair well with pork tenderloin over the next couple of years. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: "This richly aromatic, elegant wine comes with layer upon juicy layer of lush red and black jam fruits –cherry, plum, currant – and dark chocolate, black tea, smoke and spice. The tannins are ripe and smooth with a finish that takes its time letting you go." - ELIAS FERNANDEZ
