Wine Review: This opaque and onyx colored Cabernet from the Stags Leap District opens with mild black currant bouquet with a hint of black raspberry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, and approachable. The flavor profile is a classic black currant with nicely integrated oak and a hint of plum and black cherry. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins are friendly and slightly prolonged. This Cab would be perfect with beef bourguignon. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: This is a Cabernet that is so enjoyable now and will just get better with time in the cellar. Aromas of rich, polished black fruit, mocha, and spice, followed by fulsome, juicy flavors of blackberry and black cherry, chocolate, plum and cedar, with ripe, smooth tannins and a pleasingly long finish. - Elias Fernandez
