Wine Review: This opaque and almost black colored wine opens with an aromatic blueberry and blackberry jam bouquet with a hint of toasty oak. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced, and savory. The flavor profile is a fruit forward spicy black raspberry and coffee blend with hints of black currant and black pepper. The finish is dry and its tingly tannins are quite lengthy. The panel suggested that this wine would pair well with beef bourguignon or prime rib. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: The 2007 Relentless starts with glass-filling aromas of dark fruit, truffles and grilled meat, which is the Syrah talking. In the mouth the wine is smooth, round and elegant with meaty flavors, black cherry and plum, black tea, and black licorice. The firm, nicely ripen tannins ensure this will age magnificently. — ELIAS FERNANDEZ
