Wine Review: This slightly opaque and dark ruby colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Walla Walla opens with an inviting red cherry bouquet with a hint of craisin, rose petals and oak. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and rather refined. The flavor profile is a tasty red and black currant blend with notes of black cherry and refined minerality. I also detected hints of Dr. Pepper and a touch of oak. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins show very nice length. This wine is built to be paired with a New York strip steak from your favorite restaurant. Enjoy – Ken
