Wine Review: This slightly opaque and dark ruby colored red wine opens with a new leather and black raspberry bouquet with hints of wet granite, violets, and black cherry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, dense, and fresh. The flavor profile is cedar and graphite blend with notes of black cherry and blackberry. Hints of caper, milk chocolate, and orange rind. The finish is dry, and its dusty tannins stick around for quite some time. The Tasting Panel would pair this Italian red blend with steak Florentine or with Jiko's wild boar. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Intense deep ruby red color. The nose impresses with great aromatic richness and a complex bouquet of blackcurrant, small black fruits and delicate balsamic notes of menthol. In the mouth, the wine has velvety tannins and with aromas of black berried fruits that fill the palate with lingering persistence. Pair with roasted and braised red meat.
