Wine Review: This deep red colored Sangiovese based wine opens with a sweet red cherry and vanilla bouquet with hints of mocha, earth and smoky oak. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with medium plus acidity. We also found it to be balanced, savory and Old World styled. The flavor profile is black cherry and mild oak blend with notes of dried herbs, stony minerality and blackberry. We also detected hints of red plum and anise. The finish is dry and its dusty fine-grained tannins and flavors linger and last for a while. This wine would pair well with beef braciola or grandma's lasagna. Enjoy – Ken and Mark
Winemaker Notes: A Super Tuscan style wine made from Sangiovese. It is bright ruby red colored. It opens with aromas of small red fruits and floral notes. The body is beautifully balanced with a long finish. Delicious with full flavored meats and roasts.
