Wine Review: If you like fruit forward Cab, this offering is for you. It is dark ruby colored and opens with a new leather like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, and juicy. The flavor profile is an oak influenced plum and tart black cherry blend. The finish is dry and its mild tannins make it quite food friendly. Drink this wine in the near term with marinated teriyaki steak tips. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Dark red-black in color with intense aromas of blackberry, black cherry, and currants interwoven with burnt toast and tar. Additional layers on the nose of rich spice with added hints of vanilla and maple. There are background notes of pencil lead as well. On the palate flavors of sweet ripe raspberries come through and the wine has smooth tannins and creamy weight with an impeccable balance and a long finish.
