Wine Review: This very dark red Pinot opens with a mild black raspberry like bouquet with a hint of truffles. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, and shows some gentle acidity. The flavor profile is a mild black raspberry with notes of spice and a touch of oak. The finish is rather dry and it is pretty long. This Pinot would pair well with pork chops with a baked on apple glaze. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Concentrated aromas and flavors of wild berry, cherry, cranberry, and strawberry mingle with spicy white pepper. Soft tannins and bright acidity balance the multitude of fruit flavors, which repeat through the long lingering finish.
