Wine Review: This translucent light ruby colored Chianti Rufina opens with a fragrant red plum and pomegranate bouquet with a prominent spice note. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic and juicy. The flavor profile is a mineral infused red plum with notes of cedar, tart cherry and black pepper. I also detected hints of craisin and a dash of cinnamon. The finish is dry and its flavors and moderate tannins show a nice extended length. This wine would pair well with Italian braciole. Enjoy – Ken
