Wine Review: This dark red colored Chianti Rufina opens with an intriguing leather and black cherry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, nicely balanced, round and a little juicy. The flavor profile is a mild cedar influenced cherry with notes of red raspberry and truffles. I also detected a hint of licorice as the flavors faded away. The finish is dry and there are only some faint tannins that do not get in the way. I would pair this tasty wine with veal parmigiana. Enjoy - Ken
