Wine Review: This ruby colored Sangiovese based wine from Selvapiana opens with a very inviting dark chocolate covered blueberry, black cherry and cedar bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, acidic and juicy. The flavor profile is cedar influenced black cherry with notes of flinty minerality and hints of red currant. The finish is dry and its robust tannins stick around for a very long time. I would pair this wine with Italian beef braciole. Enjoy - Ken
