Wine Review: This opaque and deep purple colored Cabernet Sauvignon opens with mild black currant and black raspberry bouquet with hints of black cherry, cedar, and a faint hint of tomato leaf. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with medium acidity. The mouthfeel soft, smooth, and sophisticated. The flavor profile is a black cherry and black currant blend with notes of boysenberry, nutmeg, and cedar. We also detected hints of menthol and faint tobacco as well. The finish is dry and its fine dusty tannins and flavors drift away nicely. The Panel would pair this Cab with a filet mignon or a charred butterflied leg of lamb. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: This first release from the vineyard is powerful and intense with a dynamic aroma and all the components to age gracefully for decades. If you can wait that long.
