Wine Review: This opaque and dark magenta colored blend opens with an inviting mild graphite and mentholated cherry bouquet with hints of teaberry gum and tobacco. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied, balanced, round and juicy. The flavor profile is a cherry, chewing tobacco and oak blend with notes black tea and some hints of tart strawberry. The finish is dry and its fine tannins are nicely extended. The Panel suggested pairing this with beef carpaccio or lamb chops. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Great complexity, intricacy and sophistication. Intense, concentrated aromas of blackberry, vanilla and baking spices. Rich black fruit washes over the palate with complex layers of cedar and tobacco. Soft tannins and lingering notes of herbs and spice.
