Wine Review: This white gold colored Chardonnay and Pinot Blanc blend from the Finger Lakes opens with a mild Anjou pear and light lemon tea bouquet with a hint of vanilla, ginger, and jasmine. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, silky smooth, and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is ripe honeydew melon and lemon verbena blend with notes of chalky minerality, pear, and white peach. We also detected a touch of ginger and pineapple. The finish is quite refreshing and drifts away nicely. We would pair this tasty blend with fish tacos with mango salsa or with broiled scallops. Enjoy – Ken & Mark
