Wine Review: This medium ruby colored Zinfandel opens with a blueberry and plum bouquet with hints of black cherry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, smooth, fruit forward and juicy. The flavor profile is a smoky oak influenced plum with notes of cola and stony minerality. We also detected hints of cocoa and red cherry mixed in. The finish is dry and its medium tannins drift nicely. The Panel would pair this Zin with steak fajitas, Irish lamb stew, or carnitas tacos. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Fruit forward, rich, and full flavors expressing both the varietal and the Amador Terroir. This complex wine has notes of bright raspberry, white pepper, and a full pleasant mouthfeel.
