Wine Review: This medium ruby colored Barbera opens with a mild red cherry bouquet with hints of baked blueberry pie eucalyptus, and graphite. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied and round. The flavor profile is spiced black plum and Bing cherry with notes of mild minerality. We also detected hints of pomegranate and cedar mixed in. The finish is very dry, shows a little heat and has chewy tannins that stick around for quite a while. The Panel would pair this teriyaki steak tips or with a Kansas City bone-in strip steak. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Grown on steep mountainous terrain in the higher elevations of the Shenandoah Valley of Amador County. Blackberry, currents, and spicy pumpkin pie notes with a rich, full, and balanced center flow into a flavorful lingering finish.
