Wine Review: This rose gold colored Sparkling Wine from Schramsberg displays fine streaming bubbles. It opens with a walnut and oolong tea bouquet with hints of wet stone, raspberry, and yeast. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, round, silky, and gentle. The flavor profile is maraschino cherry and ginger ale blend with notes of apple and lime. We also detected hints of biscuit and raspberry, and pear. The finish is dry and its flavors and acidity drift away nicely. The Tasting Panel would pair this Sparkling Wine with poached salmon or oysters. Enjoy - KWGTP
