Wine Review: This pale coral colored Brut Rose from Schramsberg displays tiny streaming bubbles and opens with a very doughy strawberry bouquet with a hint of cherry pie. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied and slightly acidic. The flavor profile is a nutty raspberry with notes of soft minerality, green tea and a hint of lemon. The finish is dry and refreshing. The Panel suggest pairing this Brut Rose with cherrystones or shrimp cocktail. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: The 2016 Brut Rose has generous aromas of strawberry and orange zest. Its fruitful nose is complemented by notes of cinnamon, vanilla and watermelon. On the palate, there are juicy flavors of ruby grapefruit, stone fruit and raspberry compote, with soft touches of toasted hazelnut and shortbread cookie. The fruitful finish is fresh, with a bright clean acidity. Enjoy this rich, delicious sparkler on almost any occasion: A very versatile wine; try it with sushi, salmon or rock shrimp.
