Wine Review: This light salmon colored Sparkling wine opens with mild dough and orange bouquet with a hint of stonefruit. It displays only a few bubbles when compared to others. On the palate, this wine is light bodied, acidic and crisp. The flavor profile is a dough and mineral blend with notes of strawberry and tart green apple. The finish dry and its acidity lingers for a bit. The panel suggested that this sparkler would pair well with stuffed mushrooms. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: The complex and dense nose bursts with red fruit aromas of raspberry and strawberry, followed by exotic candied mango, pineapple and papaya. On first taste there are flavors of peach and pineapple, which are complimented by a touch of strawberries and cream. On entry, the palate offers a crisp and quenching acidity, which leads to long and lingering rich flavors.
