Wine Review: This slightly opaque and dark ruby Cabernet Sauvignon from Sbragia opens with a medicinal cherry, rubber and espresso bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced and savory. The flavor profile is a unique blend of green olive and cherry along with notes of red plum. I also detected hints of minerality and cinnamon. The finish is dry and its flavors and moderate tannins stick around and last for quite a while. This Cab would pair well with a rib roast.
