Wine Review: This very dark ruby colored Petite Sirah from Sbragia is very good. On the palate, this wine opens with a mulberry bouquet with notes of boysenberry and autumn leaves. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied, balanced and very smooth. The flavor profile is a tasty blackberry with notes of nicely integrated minerality. We also detected hints of plum and cedar. The finish is rather dry and its elevated tannins are very sticky. A little decanting will resolve them. The Panel suggested pairing this wine with a ribeye steak. Enjoy - KWGTP
