Wine Review: This Cabernet Sauvignon from the Monte Rosso Vineyard opens with a unique bouquet of modeling clay, cherry and some talc. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced and round. The flavor profile is a graphite influenced black olive and plum blend with notes of black tea. We also detected some hints of blackberry. The finish is dry and its very dusty tannins stick around for a while. The Panel suggested pairing this Cab with a New York strip steak. Enjoy - KWGTP
