Wine Review: This dark violet colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Mt. Veeder opens with a fragrant Dr. Pepper and black currant bouquet with some floral hints and a little eucalyptus. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced and fruit forward. The flavor profile is black currant with notes of vanilla, old oak and minerality. We also detected hints of dark chocolate and black cherry. The finish is dry and its tannins stick around and build up for a while. The Panel suggested pairing this Cab with roast beef with Yorkshire pudding. Enjoy – KWGTP
