Wine Review: This medium ruby colored Pinot Noir from Saxon Brown opens with a shy blueberry and Bing cherry bouquet with hints of plum and clove. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium acidity. The mouthfeel is smooth, juicy, delicate, and well-balanced. The flavor profile is red plum and red currant blend with notes of red cherry. We also detected some hints of dried herbs, mushroom, and stony minerality. The finish is dry and its flavors drift away nicely. The Tasting Panel would pair this Pinot with shrimp and grits, mushroom risotto, or soft cheeses. Enjoy – KWGTP
