Wine Review: This wine opens with a new leather and musty black cherry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic and juicy. The flavor profile is a mineral infused black cherry with notes of mild old oak and pomegranate. The finish is dry and its mild tannins and fruit flavors stick around for a little while after the wine is gone. This wine is pretty food friendly and it would pair well with veal parmigianna. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Intense ruby in colour; ripe fruit aromas with notes of cassis, plum and herbs; medium to full bodied with juicy fruit lavours, supple tannins, and a lingering finish. Pair with flavoured pasta dishes, aged cheese, roasted red meats.
