Wine Review: This straw colored Garganega is very good and a steal at $14. It opens with an attractive pear like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, and smooth. The flavor profile is a tasty pear with hints of apple and a touch of minerality. The finish is dry and subtle. This white wine displays rich flavors that would pair well with a wild mushroom ravioli with a light butter cream sauce. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Color: Light gold. Bouquet: Aromas of pears and apricots with subtle floral notes. Taste: Rich, dry, and flavorful on the palate, with a long finish. Food Pairing: This voluptuous “Super White” pairs perfectly with pastas, grilled seafood, and aged cheeses.
