Wine Review: This white gold colored white blend from Santa Rita opens with an orange zest and pine pitch bouquet with hints of pineapple and kiwi. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round and zesty. The flavor profile is a lychee and green tea blend with notes of saline and lime. We also detected hints of white pepper and almond. The finish is dry and refreshing. This white blend would pair well with oysters, a grilled weisswurst sausage, or a mahi-mahi sandwich. Winemaker Notes: Our Floresta Field Blend Blanco 2022 is a highly authentic and pure wine. This white wine is born with the spirit of a red through fermentation with skins and prolonged aging on them. It boasts a straw-yellow color with good brightness and depth. These varieties coexist in the same terroir and are harvested simultaneously to create a wine of great aromatic intensity, with a rm palate, good structure, and excellent acidity. This wine does honor to the oldest form of winemaking in Chile.
