Wine Review: This midnight purple colored Malbec from Santa Julia is a good value at $10. It opens with a strawberry rhubarb and cola bouquet with a hint of pomegranate. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic and juicy. The flavor profile is a tangy black cherry with notes of red plum and strawberry. I also detected hints of cinnamon mixed in as well. The finish is dry and drifts away nicely. This wine would pair well with a juicy burger off the grill. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Wine of great expression, with intense aromas of cherries and plums, spicy notes and a balanced finish.
