Wine Review: This opaque and dark ruby colored Malbec from the Uco Valley is a very good value. It opens with a pomegranate and plum bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic and juicy. The flavor profile is a tart cherry and stony mineral blend with hints of black tea and black raspberry. The finish is dry and its flavors and gentle acidity drift away nicely. This Malbec is food friendly and would pair nicely with a bacon burger. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Dark violet with blue hues. Nose of ripe red and black fruits such as cherries, plums, and blackberries. Notes of vanilla, chocolate, and snuff. Medium-bodied flavor, with soft tannins and balanced acidity with a fruity and spicy finish.
