Wine Review: This dark red colored Malbec from Argentina opens with a cranberry bouquet with a hint of pomegranate. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic and a little juicy. The flavor profile is a soft mild red plum with notes of pomegranate and oak. I also detected a mild streak of minerality throughout. The finish is dry and its flavors and moderate tannins show some length. This Malbec is a very good everyday wine. You can pair it with meat lasagna. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Dark violet with blue hues. Nose of ripe red and black fruits such as cherries, plums, and blackberries. Notes of vanilla, chocolate, and snuff. Medium-bodied flavor, with soft tannins and balanced acidity with a fruity and spicy finish.
