Wine Review: This Malbec from Santa Julia opens with dark plum, vanilla, coffee and floral notes on the nose. It is a dark purple colored wine that is full bodied, smooth and easy drinking with decent structure and light tannins. There are tons of dark fruit flavors with some spicy oak and mineral notes leading to an earthy medium finish. This good value Malbec would go well with a grilled lamb burger with creamy dill sauce.- Mark
Winemaker Notes: Dark violet with blue hues. Nose of ripe red and black fruits such as cherries, plums, and blackberries. Notes of vanilla, chocolate, and snuff. Medium-bodied flavor, with soft tannins and balanced acidity with a fruity and spicy finish.
