Wine Review: This bright ruby colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Santa Julia is a very good value. It opens with black currant and mild cedar like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium to full bodied, balanced, super smooth and very easy to drink. The flavor profile is a gentle mineral infused black currant and black cherry blend. I also detected hints of oak and black olive towards the end. The finish is dry and its moderate dusty tannins stick around for quite some time. This Argentinian Cab is very good and will be versatile. I would pair it with a juicy bacon, mushroom and Swiss burger. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Color: Ruby colour with purple hues. Aroma: Notes of mature forest fruits such as blackberries and blueberries, complemented by subtle spicy notes of black pepper, paprika and herbal touch. Flavor: Round, balanced with soft tannins and lively acidity. It has a mouth end of intense dark fruit presence.
