Wine Review: This ruby colored Cabernet opens with fruity blackberry and boysenberry bouquet with a hint of old oak. On the plate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and juicy. The flavor profile is a ripe black raspberry with nicely integrated old vanilla. I also detected a hint of plum as well. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins are well controlled and behind its fruit flavors that linger. This is a food friendly Cab that is pretty easy to drink. It is a nice summer red and would pair well with tangy pulled or barbecue chicken sandwiches. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Ruby color with purple hues of good intensity. Complex aromas of ripe fruits as cherries, black cherries and plums. Vanilla, leather, tobacco and spices include black pepper and paprika. Full-bodied, sweet tannins, rich red wine with good balance and complexity. Long lingering finish.
