Wine Review: This dark red colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Chile is very unique. It opens with a tomato leaf like bouquet with a hint of red cherry in the background. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and approachable. The flavor profile is a spicy tomato and plum blend with notes of oak. The finish is dry and its mild tannins and flavors drift away nicely. This Cab would pair well with Hungarian Goulash. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Deep ruby violet red. Aromas of black cherries, plums, tobacco and roasted coffee. The palate is round and well structured. With mature tannins and lots of texture, with a long finish. Ideal to go with charcoal grilled meat, spiced dishes, stews and mature cheeses.
