Wine Review: This dark red colored Pinot Noir from Santa Barbara is a very good value. It opens with a Maine blueberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with nice palate presence and balance. It is also fruit forward. Those fruits flavors consist of blueberry and fig blend with notes of vanilla-cola mixed in. There is also touch of black raspberry that appears at the end. The finish is dry and its fruit and gentle tannins linger nicely. This Pinot would pair well with Memphis styled dry rub ribs. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: This Pinot exhibits flavors and aromas of black cherry, strawberry, violets and black tea. This is the perfect red for light lunches on the patio or lazy afternoons picnicking in the shade.
