Wine Review: This dark yellow colored Chardonnay from Santa Barbara is very good. It opens with a fragrant oak and pear bouquet with hints of lemon. On the palate, this wine is medium to full bodied, zippy and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is a tasty oak influenced Bosc pear with notes of honey and fig. I also detected a hint of lemon. The finish is dry and its flavors show very nice length. This rich styled Chard would pair well with lobster bisque. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: This Chardonnay is bright and flavorful with a great deal of fruit intensity. We consider this our trademark Chardonnay, a wine we have consistently produced year after year.
