Wine Review: This pale straw colored Sauvignon Blanc from Santa Barbara Winery opens with a fragrant and appealing light lime and lilac bouquet. On the palate, this wine is light to medium bodied, slightly acidic and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is a mild mineral infused light lime with notes of Anjou pear and a dash of white pepper. The finish is dry and refreshing. This Sauvignon Blanc is a perfect summer wine. I would serve it slightly chilled with oysters or steamers. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: This fresh-tasting wine has its own distinctive flavor, is a great alternative to Chardonnay and serves equally well with moderately spicy foods, seafood and salads.
