Wine Review: This pale white gold colored Sauvignon Blanc from Santa Barbara Winery opens with a faint Golden Delicious apple bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium to full-bodied which is different for a Sauvignon Blanc. It also displays pleasant gentle acidity. The flavor profile is a gentle mineral infused green apple with a hint of lime. This finish is dry and refreshing. This wine is very food friendly and would complement a lot of dishes. I would pair it with broiled scallops or garlic chicken. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: This fresh-tasting wine has its own distinctive flavor, is a great alternative to Chardonnay and serves equally well with moderately spicy foods, seafood and salads.
