Wine Review: This light yellow colored Chardonnay from Santa Barbara was well received. It opens with an appealing light lemon and apple bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic and juicy. The flavor profile is a mineral infused tart lemon with notes of kiwi, green apple and white pepper. I also picked up a touch of oak in the background. The finish is dry and more refreshing than your typical Chard. I would enjoy it this summer by the pool with Thai rolls. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: This wine is bright and flavorful with a great deal of fruit intensity. We consider this our trademark Chardonnay, a wine we have consistently produced year after year.
