Wine Review: This very dark purple colored Cabernet Sauvignon opens with a black olive and black currant bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium acidity. It is also rustic and savory. The flavor profile is a blend of black olive, tar, and oak. I also detected notes of black currant and graphite. The finish is dry, and its dusty tannins and rustic flavors are nicely extended. This Cab will appeal to fans of Old-World wines. I would pair well with Mediterranean beef stew. Enjoy - Ken
