Wine Review: This bright red colored Rosso di Montalcino from San Felice was popular with all that tried it. It opens with a saddle leather and black cherry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and very refined. The flavor profile is a very tasty cherry with notes of refined minerality and oak. There is a slight hint of cinnamon and strawberry in the background. The finish is dry and its refined tannins show nice length. This very nice Sangiovese would pair nicely with veal saltimbocca. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Ruby in appearance, a medium-bodied wine with fragrances of cherry, blackberry, and cedarwood. Crisp and lively, with a silky texture and a seemingly. Pair with meat-sauced pastas with mushroom or truffles or dishes of pork or sauced veal.
