Wine Review: This dark scarlet colored wine from Bolgheri is very nice. It opens with a faint cherry and gentle leather bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, nicely balanced and smooth. The flavor profile is a tasty oak influenced red plum with notes of nicely integrated fine minerality. I also detected some hints of red cherry in the background. The finish is dry and its fine dusty tannins stick around for a very long time. This wine would pair well with Roy’s rib-roast. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Purple in appearance, it exhibits a bouquet redolent of wild berry preserves, lifted by smooth notes of spice. On the palate, it is beautifully balanced and delicious, with supple, velvety tannins.
